Brandon Pieczko is the Digital Archivist for Manuscript Collections at Ball State University where he oversees the Stoeckel Archives of Local History and Middletown Studies Collection. Previously, he worked as the Processing Archivist at the State Archives of the South Dakota State Historical Society where he managed a National Historical Publications and Records Commission (NHPRC) grant project to process a large backlog of state, county, and municipal government records.

Brandon holds an MS in Library and Information Science and an MA in East Asian Languages and Cultures from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a BA in Religion and Classical Studies from the University of Evansville. He is an active member of the Society of American Archivists, Midwest Archives Conference, and Society of Indiana Archivists, and is a certified Digital Archives Specialist through the Society of American Archivists.
